1 Using a wide range of academic and practitioner literature, explain the learning organisation.
2 Using a wide range of literature, critically discuss models and characteristics of the learning organisation and how adopting this approach may benefit organisation X.
3 Undertake primary research, via employee questionnaires, to gain quantitative data to analyse the extent that Organisation X is a learning organisation.
4 To undertake primary research via employee questionnaires, to determine which management and leadership styles are presently employed within the professional service department an arm of Organisation X.
5 Encapsulate theoretical literature and practical findings to establish recommendations to build on opportunities and overcome barriers to adopting a learning organisation approach.
6 To reflect on the project to aid future development through personal learning.

The secondary research was carried out via a literature review. This ensures that Objectives 1 and 2 are met and highlights how moving towards a learning organisation will benefit organisation X.

Chapter 3 describes the research methodology whilst Chapter 4 includes the findings and analysis. Ensuring Objectives 3 and 4 are achieved.

Recommendations in Chapter 6 matching Objective 5 whilst the reflection for Objective 6 is in Appendix A.

2. The next 1200 words should be a detailed synthesis of literature and finding- summarise the key elements of your findings and how this support or contradict the theories and models discussed in your literature review and conclude what this means for your study.
